Thanksgiving Break

There is NO SCHOOL November 21st-25th! Have a great Thanksgiving Break!

Health Ed assembly

Jenny WesterKamp came to our school today. She is the nutritionist for the numerous Chicago sports teams. She taught us all about being a healthier person! She taught us all the things we should and shouldn't eat. We learned a lot from this experience. Now we can all eat like pros!

Book Fair

The Scholastic Book Fair previews are underway yesterday and today in the LMC.
Be sure to bring your money tomorrow as sales will be available throughout the day -
especially during lunch hours.
Tell your parents and give them your wish list because the Book Fair is also open during
parent teacher conferences on Monday and Tuesday next week.

PAWS for a Cause Meeting

There will be a PAWS for a Cause meeting tomorrow after school in room 123. It will be done in time for you to take the activity bus.

Activity Bus

There will be NO activity bus after school on Friday, November 18th!

Red Ribbion Week

Monday: Wear headbands, wristbands, bandanas!

Tuesday: Wear red, white, and blue!

Wednesday: Crazy socks day!

Thursday: Favorite sports team item!

Friday: WEAR RED FOR BEST OUTFIT!!!

Yankee Candle Pickup

If you ordered Yankee Candles this year, you can pick them up this Monday, November 14th. Pickup times are 2pm-5pm.

Student Council

There is a mandatory student council meeting for all representatives and advisory board members after
school today in room 225. If you have other commitments, you must check in with Mr. Slowinski or Mrs.
Williams before attending practice. The meeting will be over in time to take the activity bus.

Team and Club photos

Tomorrow are Team and Club photos for the yearbook.
Please check the times in your homeroom for when your photo will be taken and make sure to be on
time.

Reminder

A  reminder to all students participating in our first PAC get together of the year:
We will be meeting tomorrow after school in the fitness room for fun and games.
Please feel free to bring your backpacks and school supplies with you.
You must have a pre-arranged ride to get home at the end of the activity, as there is
no activity bus running.
Looking forward to seeing everyone for our first event!'

Wellness Fair

The Wellness Fair is tomorrow night from 6:00 – 8:00 at the South Middle School.
Lots of action like Zumba dancing, soccer skills training and a free throw basketball
contest
